Yum
I'll start by saying my parents think I am nuts, taking pictures of all of this food! Then, my mom came in and saw what I was doing and just started laughing. I was trying to show her how Picasa can create collages and she just shook her head. I guess one must have to be a foodie to understand (or have too much time on one's hands!)
Fresh tomatoes from the garden and some lemons my friend (Thanks Amber!) brought back from California. The Dr. Pepper can is to show just how big those babies are! By tomorrow, they will be fresh lemonade.

I miss having a huge garden like we did when we were kids. I hated weeding, picking, canning and freezing at the time but I would give anything to have it all back.
Garden tomatoes. Yum. All you needed for a feast was a knife, some salt and pepper. Those were the days. :)
Tomatoes were part of breakfast this morning. Yum. They make me never want to eat a grocery store tomatoe again. Some day....I'll have a garden!
Made a trip to Farmers Market. I am looking for more local PYO orchards. I hate driving down through downtown Big D to get my fresh veggies. I made salsa with the FM tomatoes. It maade all the difference in the world.
Definitely takes a foodie to understand the whole take-pictures-of-your-food thing. Now, my son knows to wait until a picture has been taken before he has his first bite. Quick learner! ;)
are you serious?
