Marbled Cream Cheese Brownies

Welcome to my blog. Here you will find random commentary on my cooking adventures, restaurant reviews from my time on the road (mostly in Oklahoma, but not exclusively so), occasional musings on life, and whatever else I feel like writing about. If you check the archives, you'll find some anecdotes from my time as a special education teacher, comments from camps I've worked, and glimpses of my family. Enjoy!
I haven't burned the house down or anything. I'm still trucking along, just very very tired. I'll be back soon. This seems to be a recurring theme. It'll change soon.
Another picture from my parents' place.

I know all about being tired, and my new low for dinner is feeding my kids scrambled eggs and waffles (the frozen kind, not homemade) for dinner. How's the job search going?
Just dropping by for a friendly hello :) S...hello jj! :)
Very interesting picture with the fire hydrant and the tree! So, if the tree ever catches on fire, it's awfully convenient. Hee hee.
Though were I a dog, I'd think I'd have a hard time choosing if I came across this...
Jen, so far just one interview, but it's still early.
Jeff, glad you dropped by! (you too Jen). My dogs ignore both the hydrant and tree. One is a girl and the other never learned to lift his leg. heehee. Plus, I think he's too big to balance on 3 legs while doing his deed!
Hey, does your mom still have the old wagon wheels that sat by the front door of your old house? I loved those!
Lula--she still has them, along w/ various other antiques.
