And we think it was after these cute little things
They were all found out in my parent's shop. The mama cat had moved her babies to a very difficult area for her to get (much less for us to rescue them) and while we were searching for them, we came across the snake. Luckily, my dad took him and moved him out across the fence in the pasture. He was a spreader--acts like a rattlesnake but isn't a rattlesnake. Fun day, eh?

OK, so I'm moved out of my house, we've closed, the money has hit the bank. Wow--I never would have thought I would go from meeting w/ the realtor to closing in just 6 weeks, 2 days, but it happened and now I am relieved! I just have to find a house in OK. In the meantime, I am staying w/ friends. It's working out just fine.
Much more to say here...but for now I'll leave you with this picture. Any guesses as to what it is? :)

I don't think I've ever seen a sunset like this in Texas, except when I'm at Camp Esperanza. Oh, I'm know I'd see some like this if I drove west until I got away from all the concrete and cars. But, I'd rather move to OK where I can sit on my parent's porch and enjoy views such as this. No obstructions, except for the trees in the foreground.
